DUNKIRK HOSTS THE MUST-ATTEND EVENT FOR THE BATTERY INDUSTRY FROM 1 TO 3 APRIL 2025
ÉcosystèmeD and Avicenne Energy, in partnership with Dunkerque-Port, are joining forces to organise the Batteries Event Dunkerque international trade fair, from 1ᵉʳ to 3 April 2025 at the Kursaal, Palais des Congrès. Reserved for industry professionals, this event will bring together more than 50 exhibitors, direct industry players, 100 speakers and 700 visitors for three days of exchanges, innovations and strategic opportunities.
Batteries Event Dunkerque: the key event for the battery industry
For over twenty years, Batteries Event has been a must-attend event for the battery industry. This year’s Batteries Event in Dunkirk will take place at the heart of a fastgrowing ecosystem, and will provide an opportunity to find out about practical developments in the sector through visits to industrial sites, conferences and workshops designed to create the conditions for the success of the battery industry.
For three days, local, national and international participants will be able to understand the challenges facing the sector, exchange ideas and meet the key players in this booming industry. The program will cover key issues such as industrial, regional and environmental challenges. The event will also focus on supporting start-ups and new business opportunities, developing the skills needed to structure the industry and integrating new players into the sector. Finally, round-table discussions will be held on the economic, technical and social outlook, and the location of industrial sites dedicated to batteries.
Dunkirk: a key region at the heart of the battery revolution
The Dunkirk area is a major venue for Batteries Event Dunkerque. Positioned at the heart of Europe’s electric mobility valley, the region plays a strategic role in three key links in the electric battery value chain: materials preparation, battery manufacturing and recycling. Thanks to large-scale projects, its industrial dynamism is shaping the future of the industry.
Dunkirk stands out for its location in France’s leading automotive region and the establishment of several gigafactories, such as Verkor and Prologium, reinforcing its status as a key hub in the sector. But the region’s attractiveness does not rest solely on these specialist players. Some of the region’s long-established industrial players are also playing their part in this transformation, putting their expertise at the service of the development of a more sustainable, low-carbon industry. Batteries Event Dunkerque will offer participants a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in this dynamic ecosystem through conferences, privileged discussions and exclusive visits to emblematic industrial sites.

The program and speakers
The program for this year’s Batteries Event Dunkerque promises to be rich and varied. More than 50 speakers, including some of the sector’s leading figures, are expected to share their knowledge and visions through conferences and content translated into French and English.
