CUBEMED OPENS A NEW, INNOVATIVE TELEMEDICINE CONSULTATION IN DUNKIRK

With the support of Dunkerque Promotion, CUBEMED opened its medical consultancy in Dunkirk on 4 October. A new concept of telemedicine consultation centre set to expand rapidly in France to combat medical deserts.

It was in Marseille that the very first CUBEMED opened its doors in June 2022, making the Dunkirk centre the second for the company, which is aiming to open a further twenty centres by the end of 2022.

WHAT MAKES CUBEMED DIFFERENT?  

“Far from classic telemedicine consultation systems, Cubemed is an authentic medical centre that has its own reception staff and nurses during consultations, particularly for medical examinations, writing prescriptions, referring patients to consultants if necessary, etc. ”

FORGET ABOUT TELEMEDICINE CONSULTATIONS, IT’S TIME FOR ASSISTED TELEMEDICINE CONSULTATIONS.

At the practice, you’ll have access to nine devices for taking vital signs and diagnostics, including a dermatoscope, an electrocardiogram and a glucometer… all operated by a registered nurse. You will also get the same quality of diagnosis as you would at the GP surgery. And then? Once your consultation is complete, your diagnosis and prescription are printed on site. You can then go straight to the pharmacy to collect your medication.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND IS IT COVERED BY INSURANCE?

The centre has a Carte Vitale health insurance and private health insurance card reader for simplified cover and reimbursements. The medical consultation is covered by social security and reimbursed in the same way as it would be at your GP’s surgery.
