Once CO₂ has been captured, industrial companies have several options:

CO₂ utilisation: reusing CO₂ for other purposes.
CO₂ storage: storing it in geological formations. It can be transported to storage sites by ship or through an offshore pipeline connected to an export hub located in a port area.
