Fluxys – Dunkerque LNG
“For France, the vision for the future hydrogen backbone encompasses regional dedicated hydrogen networks to emerge by 2030 around industrial clusters in Dunkirk, in the Seine Valley from Le Havre to the vicinity of Paris, and around Lyon, Lacq and Marseille. These first regional hydrogen networks will foster the achievement of the French Government ambition to reach 6.5 GW of electrolysis capacity installed in 2030, to decarbonise industrial and mobility uses. The hydrogen cluster around Dunkirk is projected to be supplied with decarbonised hydrogen from offshore wind, as well as low-carbon hydrogen. Through the envisaged cross-border pipeline connections, the cluster is also set to co-benefit from the hydrogen valleys in Belgium and the Netherlands.“
