A new ‘20 000 jobs’ space opens at Dunkirk station

Between new businesses setting up and existing companies expanding, thousands of jobs will be created in the Dunkirk area over the next few years. To help residents seize these opportunities, a new Espace 20 000 Emplois job centre has opened at Place de la Gare in Dunkirk.

Located in the heart of the urban area, the space is supported by the Dunkirk Urban Community and run by the Entreprendre Ensemble teams. It benefits from direct access to public transport.

Informing, guiding, supporting

The professionals present will welcome you with the aim of:

• introducing you to the professions that are recruiting (in industry but also in many other sectors)
• offering fun workshops to help you discover the different sectors
• guiding you towards the right employment and training organisations

Training for tomorrow’s jobs

The aim is to help young people, those retraining or seeking employment to access emerging sectors and new skills required in the region.

In line with the Saint-Pol area

This new space complements the one in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer, already recognised for its role as a bridge between residents, businesses and employment and integration partners. With this opening, Dunkirk confirms its commitment to facilitating access to local employment and preparing for the future of the region.

«We presented the opportunities to around ten people, explaining how to access new jobs, the new skills required and the training available. It’s an opportunity to learn about established companies and production methods linked to decarbonation.»
