Instead of the highly polluting refrigerants normally used, Econowatts Climatic opts for the use of a natural refrigerant, CO2 , overlooked until now as being too inefficient. The company’s innovative point is to make it as efficient—or even more—than classic refrigerants, like HFC and HFO, since the proposed system consumes less energy.
Currently in the middle of the structuring and development phase, Econowatts Climatic designs and manufactures its own smart cold production machines. Initially focussed on the Hauts-de-France region, it aims to market them across the whole of France and Europe in the tertiary, industrial and agricultural sectors, buoyed by the first very positive client feedback. In five years, Econowatts Climatic should have created around forty jobs.
