LA TURBINE:
Just a few metres from Dunkirk train station and city centre, LA TURBINE is a welcome and advice centre for entrepreneurs which opened its doors in November past. This site is a specific and original response to the needs of new entrepreneurs and business owners. It provides them with tailormade answers and personalised services concerning awareness, training, support, funding and finding premises or even accommodation. Other than that, La Turbine is also a place that helps with networking among entrepreneurs and making contacts. A co-working space with free access to residents of the GREATER DUNKIRK URBAN COUNCIL (CUD) and the HAUTS DE FLANDRE GREATER DISTRICT COUNCIL (CCHF) has been built on the ground floor along with a social area to encourage getting to know one another.
L’ECLOSOIR:
L’ÉCLOSOIR business incubator located in the Eureka Centre in Wormhout (CCHF AREA) also meets the same objective. Intended to diversify local employment, encourage the emergence of new business activities and promote networking among business leaders, it currently accommodates 12 owners of projects being created or developed in furnished 12 to 18 m2 offices and 45 to 500 m2 workshops. A break room, meeting room and innovation room (with a 3D printer, 3D pen, engraver and laser cutter) are also available to lessees. They will also have on-site access to business development advisers who will help mark out the course of future entrepreneurs and business leaders.
